Rev. Chris Sparks

1979 - 1983

Reverend Chris Sparks obtained his Private Pilot's Licence in the early-mid 1970s. 

In 1977 he became the first NSW Methodist minister for the Broken Hill Circuit, previously supplied by SA. In 1979 he took over responsibility for the Far West Mission. In 1981 the aircraft and patrol-base were relocated to Bourke, and the town ministries at Bourke and Brewarrina were added to the area.
